Mr. Nikhil Malhotra is an accomplished professional with over 16 years of diverse experience in the apparel industry. He currently serves as the Deputy Director Operations at the Apparel Made-Ups and Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council (AMHSSC), a position he has held since June 2020.

Throughout his career, Nikhil has worked extensively with both international and domestic buyers, gaining hands-on experience in designing, product development, merchandising, and operational management. Before joining AMHSSC, he was associated with the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) and Nikhil Exports, where he significantly contributed to business growth and market development.

Nikhil has successfully managed over 12 editions of the India International Garment Fair (IIGF) domestically, and participated in five major international trade events including Sourcing at Magic in Las Vegas and India Trend Fair in Tokyo, showcasing his expertise in global apparel trade and promotion.

In his current role at AMHSSC, Nikhil heads several key initiatives such as Training of Trainers (ToT), Training of Assessors (ToA), and CSR/Special Projects. His focus lies in enhancing skill development and workforce productivity in the apparel sector by nurturing efficient managerial and supervisory talent.

In addition to his apparel industry expertise, Nikhil also possesses in-depth knowledge of the corrugated boxes industry, making him a versatile asset with cross-sectoral insights.
