Training of Assessors
Training of Assessors (ToA) programs are designed to equip individuals with the competencies required to conduct assessments effectively and ethically within the broader skill development ecosystem.
Typically organized by Sector Skill Councils (SSCs), these programs emphasize both domain-specific knowledge and assessment methodologies. Under the Apparel Made-Ups and Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council (AMHSSC), the duration of ToA programs generally varies by category—6 to 8 days for the New Category and 2 to 3 days for the Existing Category.
This structured approach ensures that assessors are well-prepared to uphold quality and standardization in assessments, thereby reinforcing the credibility and reliability of the certification process.
